Death Speaks Poem by Dayton Davis

Death Speaks

“....Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil....” King James Bible', Pure Cambridge Edition Psalms 23: 4

I am everywhere but nowhere.

I am loved by some, hated by many.

I am darkness and light.

love and hate.

good and evil.

Heat and cold.

I walk by all yet remain unseen.

I reap from battles both young and old.

for i am death, destroyer of worlds.

But remember, for there to be death there must be life to hold back this darkness.

so for now i leave you with this, for i smile at the day you smile back.
