Deceiver Poem by Joestar Wanderer

Deceiver

Bragged to my friends, your sister, even my mother about you
Bragged to god about you
Little did I know about the dirt right under my nose till I dug
Found a lot more than I was expecting but everything comes to light
Losing sleep just can't understand why you'd do this to me
No way you thought this could end beautifully
Couldn't even tell me to the face, couldn't even make five minutes
Thought of you so highly but all a false image
All memories of you I hope they diminish
Chance after chance I let it slide
Eyes are finally open and they're wide
All this writing and I still feel the void
Know I'll see you at work so I hope to avoid
Cause as bad as you did me still so many great thoughts of you
Just never knew someone else was on your mind
The whole time
