December Poem by Sheila Rexho

December

December cold night...
December full of light...
I'm standing outside, all alone, in the dark
Just imagining those stars that I would rewrite...

I would have chosen the most perfect moment
For me to cross your path...
I would have fought against all odds to make your world a better place
I would have dusted down your every worry, your every fear
I would have welcomed you to my celestial sphere and together we would disappear
Somewhere, over the greatest constellation, where I could be your eternal Venus,
also your favorite cosmic station

I'm freezing, all I do is mumbling your name
it lights up my soul with its crimson, blazing flame
Babe, I'm falling….
Can you feel me? ! Where are you?
In which space time you will find me again?
But babe we're just the wrong time travelers…
that couldn't make it to an end...
