Decision Poem by Eric Bradshaw

Decision

Can't choose, I can't decide
Until i have seen you with my own eyes
I'm afraid that i have been deceived
that you are only part of my dreams

I feel that there are forces at work
trying to give me a jerk
to choose, to decide, who i want to be with
for the rest of my life

I say no. I'm not ready,
I'm not planning
I'm not settling

They say choose, decide
or they will all disappear in front of your very eyes

Who the choose, who to love
There are so many choices, so many doves
to choose just one is to choose one food
to no longer eat, only the flavor i choose

This is a life decision,
what will i make
i will let god,
decide my fate.
