Decisions Poem by Daniel I Brown

Decisions

Rating: 5.0

What I want and what I see,
Seven images laugh at me…
A twist to chance, I turn to tell
Another road that leads to hell,
Sun-baked on my broken back
Splitting skin and steel spit racks,
Blackened breath and tortured screams
Fill the air with agony…
A thousand times to repent your sin…
Or feel the boiling in your skin
So make a choice and hold your ground…
Hell or heaven must be found
