Decisions, Decisions, Decisions Poem by Roilynn brown

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Decisions start with the basic question, what should I do?
Desiring for the best in my mind,
I sought to choose a path,
which would lead me to a goal,
of the best of Happiness and liberty of life.
A decision made with a deliberate conviction.

The decision lead me to choices of options and possibilities.
I set a goal to be satisfied and select choices,
that would not limit or restrict.
I wanted to select choices with values and principles.
to ensure the best conclusion.

My mind was made up to pursue the best
of happiness and liberty of life.
I knew I had to define, establish, identify, develop, and evaluate,
the course of action in my choice of the best path.

As I encountered the choices of options and possibilities,
my selections were those that were a benefit to my satisfaction.
They were choices leading to a conclusion without wrath.

My first requirement in selecting choices,
I prayed and acknowledged God in all my ways,
and I was confident He would make straight my path.
(Proverb 3: 16)

With faith I would gain the facts to the best path.
I would seek advise from the fellowship of spiritual minded friends,
who were following the best of their paths.
I realized the need to be patient,
as I weighted the pro's and con's,
to mentally ensure my best choice of paths.

My personal resolve would be to always be prepared,
in all possibilities with the choices to the best path.
I preceded with my trust in God,
to be my strength against all odds.

My decision with a deliberate conviction,
the selection of choices, options and possibilities
became beneficial to me.
I reached a satisfying conclusive goal,
of the best Happiness a life of liberty.
