Deep Blue Rage Poem by Patience

Deep Blue Rage

She broke up violent, like an asteroid on fire
I walked to the end of the earth, to feel her fly by
Oh I miss the magnetic lick of her whipping tail.
Silent ages, ‘til next time.
White roses in the clouds, draw shadows on the mire
I'll always wish for the electric kiss of the brave
to carry me safe and high
Don't you wish they did away with the tricks and the
Rigorous highlights,
in hopeful times when the truth wasn't lies
and you could still trust the stars in the sky.
Isn't it bliss when the ship fools the wave,
now you rely on moons to guide,
and tides to ride the deep blue rage.
