Deep Down Poem by Emmanuel Ruttoh

Deep Down

DEEP DOWN.
Black or white
Today or yesterday
Now or then
You or me
Us or them
Illiterate or literate
independent or colonized
Religious or pagan
Rich or beggar
WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD
NO RACE SHOULD COME BETWEEN 'EITHER '

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It is almost important to forget who we are, why we are and how we relate. Animism is key the blacks hate white for being racist, whites are too eurocentric. Either of those groups come into existence of it's own, both believe in a superior being who then is our creator.
