Deep In My Heart Poem by fouad sani

Deep In My Heart

Lonely I was when I embarked yelling the truth
Fondly I said what I feel deep inside
At hand I grasp no one at side…
“At times the truth shall be burried deep in heart
Though with tears desiring no heart shall hurt”
Then by the day I shall learn,
saying ‘beautiful’ seeing the dreadful
And nod my head though the mind says ‘NO’.
A lie said one after the other to one another…
May be the fear of being the only innocent left
looking in mirror though not the change felt
I believe i’m changing for the seasons…
'At ages experiance shall teach the men in deep gutter
that the grown up innocense was his utter foolishness”
A life lived searching its meaning in all known ways
Finding no upshot though not tired I am,
Casting the shadow of grief deep inside and waiting..
Someday I shall speak truth and move this eclipse away..
