Defences Poem by Regan Roberts

Defences

Trapped within the confines of self
And procrastinating the day
Where no one in the world can help
And where no one can be saved

My defences are breaking down
The walls are begining to crack
And crumble away all around
But I fear the day I attack

Braced I try to collect me thoughts
And understand all that I think
Forever shall this moment haunt
But I'll let no one have a hint
