Carnivorous is
The presence of fear
Reflecting that evil stare
Firm is the grip
On the throat of love
Gasping each moment
To see that Dove
Hope
Love's ally
Draws it sword
And comes down upon thee
To sever the grip
Defiance the victor
Love trounce
To renounce
The presence of fear
