Defying Cybele Poem by Deepak Daya

Defying Cybele

Behind the bush saw the shadow of a girl,
I wondered who she was.

Her eyes sparkled in lime light,
Her smile made the buds bloom.

She was like a breath of fresh air,
In the middle of a rose garden.

I asked her who you are,
And she said...

Protector of Earth and its life,
that have been destroyed by humanity.
