Dei Gratia Poem by jackie compton

Dei Gratia

Rating: 5.0

As I trek down life long highway.
And view destiny ever changing scenery.
I would be lost if I could not comprehind.
the direction that I must go.

But by the grace of God.
He has mercifully place signs a lone the road
that I must travel.

I keep traveling on.

When hard time are a head of me.
He does not place a u-turn sign telling me to turn around.

Even when the bridges of hope seems to have been wash
away.
By the floods of hate and injustice.
like a ribbon the road runs over the plains of hard times
and tribulation,

By the grace of God.
I keep traveling on

On the highway of life.
I keep traveling on.
