Delete Poem by Ragy Sandid

Delete

Delete pale memories
It's time for some new ones
What if none of them remedy
Where does one run?

Delete framed mistakes
Work hard to forge new ones
No brakes will give breaks
And no rain will stop the sun

Delete traces of old love
Imagine you're in the new one
Virtual life gives you plenty of
You're the burger in the buns

Delete chivalry
You're the knight and the nun
You're the cavalry
And then you're none

Delete work ethics
And just find new ones
It's all just mathematics
You're the zero or the one

Delete, delete, delete
Just press hard on that button
You're allowed to cross the speeding street
There's no seat at the bus station for you to sit on
