Delhi Rape. Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Delhi Rape.

Do not spit.
Stubborn Illiteracy and men, a powerful cocktail,
Stairwell is a spittoon of spiritual celibacy.
Ganesha, Krishna, Shiva, Sai Baba, Parvati, Lakshmi.
Ceramic tiles made in China. Gods Made in India.
Stairwell is neat, a clean slate of spiritual bankruptcy.
Do Not Rape.
The Shiva in you will make love to the Durga in her.
When the eyes of Durga consent to the Shiva in you.
When the lips of Durga kiss the Shiva in you.
That is making love. She rides the tiger, her will is indomitable.
When Durga is not willing, don't be stupid.
She is Parvati, and you are Ganesha.
Don't try and go to bed with your mother.
Do Not Rape.
Fear god, as you don't respect freedom.
Just as you do not spit, so as you do not rape.
Fear God, when you don't understand her.
