Delicate Process Poem by David McKenna

Delicate Process

This process is the slowest,
Though the most deliberate.
For you must be at your lowest

In order to get what is pure.
It won’t stop, only more and more.
Disturbed maybe. So they say.

But they could never understand.
With everyone, a story to tell,
Initial pain to free an internal yell.

Fear not, it’s only a tear,
Allowing you to see within,
The proof. Existence is there.

Courage must be built,
Don’t think, you must act,
Remnants shall be true and fact.

Just a simple stab and glide,
Revealing a life inside,
To prove an outer one
