Delicious Night Poem by Chenson Bennett

Delicious Night

Delicious Night

Oh night,
Oh how sweet you are to the heart and to thy soul,
Your dark ambiance,
Your vast magnitude of artistry with souls,
Your productivity precedes your bright counterpart,
thy beauty in thy sky sheds no heat
But her presence allow the greatest force to dance tall.

Oh what a delicious slice of life you are madam night,
I sit and slip coffee,
I sit and ponder your wishes
And count your shares,
Billions of stars and still counting
Billions of secrets unknown,
Why do your reveal this to us?
Oh rather why are you so delicious?
