Demons Poem by William Stgeorge

Demons

Demons
Sometimes I lay awake at night
Mind is always racing
Sweat pores down my body
Shadows crossing my eye lids
With every blink
The darkness comes stronger
The thoughts get deeper
The voices get stronger all I hear
Is It won't hurt just do it
Finally I'm asleep the darkness
Swallows me the blades are in place
As I pull the blade across my wrist
Nothing comes out but black mist
The demons come out
As I try to awake
I realize I am stuck in eternal darkness
Nothing but demons surround me
