Depress And Stone Poem by Gengis Capote

Depress And Stone

Subdue by the seat of obsession
I travel by chauffeur car.
Ever so often viewing the sites through glossy eyes,
colors change and in all the shapes i see her face...
The world so stale to taste awaits for my devouring,
And in my vision her lips define is all i wish to taste.

'The first day of what seems the last begins my daily bliss,
Where peace never meets and bliss is never ending'
I fall so deep to thought, my body frail and weaken.
I barely use my limbs except to shower and relieve,
I hunger till it hurts, sicken when i eat
And all throughout my empty day in bed is where i lay.
