Depression Poem by isaac cheong

Depression

Rating: 4.8

An inexplicable feelings
Overwhelmed me by surprise
Sadness coming over me in the comfort of my home
Could it be the songs they play on the radio
Or was it just the melancholic me playing tricks on me
Getting over it is no mean feat
Nothing can be of any help nor does sleeping over it
At times its disappearance comes just as swift
But oftentimes It comes and goes as it wished
I hope to welcome it the next time we meet
This is one old friend that would never leave
