In my world i cry delay I have no mother to call me baby
My stomach is the size of a marble
I crouch forward cause the pains unbearable
I go by the blown homes that I pass by daily
I was a Skinny survivor at the age of 3
And yes my home boy Abdi use to live in them
They pulled his family root from the ground by the stem
Now I roam alone in this violent zone
All my people Prone some dead and some moan
And every gun shell contains a ghost
Of those who I loved most
And the white people wonder why we smiling
Cause we love abiding in this soup that’s bubbling
We’re chopped up and keep huddling
And they serve us just like you got served
And they’ve been serving me since my birth
Dancing and screaming cause the rebels needing feeding
They cover themselves in war paint, GREEN AND BLACK
Hunt with metal combined with fire then place they’re preys in a sack
With Ruby eyes and ivory teeth they devour meat in every street
Yes Peace is discrete like the shoe laces on my feet
