Desire To Live Up To The Saint! Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Swami Vivekananda had preached the world with his man making education
I read and felt inspired by the noble mission
Of the saint and his vision
But somehow I feel difficult to incorporate his concepts as a whole
And make it my only goal
To reach out to the world of education
And accomplish my mission
To spread my thoughts as inspired by the great monk who believed in sacrifice
However in this world of materialism I feel would it be wise?
To stop an adolescent smoke a cigar and practice celibacy
i admire the philosophy of swami Vivekananda, but it is all for me
To practice, yet keep it a secret from the world
As it spits venom and gall
We are in the 21st century
Full of competition, rage and fury.
