Desires Gone Unanswered Poem by Gio Masserati

Desires Gone Unanswered

Oh, to feel that unbearable weight of pain,
Is much to heavy for my heart not to gain
Insurmountable feelings of unrequited love
Burns a whole in my chest...
Where once stood my heart
Like a salute and a curtsey
All wrapped into a vision
Of a beautiful scenic reality
Where once souls meet
Both you and me
Our souls cry out
With their undying love
