Desirous Fishes Poem by mohammad ahmadizadeh

Desirous Fishes

I dreamed a sea of ease
filling with tears of cheer
I wished children would swim in a breeze
the washed world in the crystal clear peace
I stared at the dried bed waiting for the streams
and dreamy fishes have died in dry days of war's blaze

my eyes dripped into the pond of feelings
harden in the dark nights of killings
emptied of kindness athirst for griefs

even if my eyeless holes can't see a thing
I hear sobbing of my glances in the turbid tears
weeping of my desirous fishes wish to reach the seas
breathing one's last in blurry dreams' streams
longing in the last breath
for the peace on earth
