i am desperate
desperate for a friend
desperate for a better life
desperate to seek the end

and all i want
is to know you are there
when i am weak
i want someone who cares

and what i need from you
is to bring some peace to the storm
that rages inside me
the one longing for a way out

and just to be free
from all this pain
and all the lies
i have kept in vain

but for now i lay desperate
wishing for you to save me
hoping for that better dream
and waiting to be free
