harry the hampshire hedgehog
was rather a snobbish beast
originally raised in berks
he cared for it the least
not far from windsor castle
slough was on mainline rail
a hedgehog found it awkward
so difficult to find a snail
for a mammal with aspirations
the suburbs were rather plain
he went to quaint rural places
that promised a capital gain
so moving out to the shires
he surveyed the valley below
then queued for a country home
thoroughly british you know
