Destructed Poem by Charlene Tan

Destructed

As the blazing hot sun shines from above
Immense heat pierced through my skin
There it goes burning
I wonder if my blood is sizzling beneath
My soul is screaming
As it tries to hide from the light
I am too dark nor do I need a spark
But it’s too late; the light has seeped through me.
