Deth

Rating: 5.0

DEth, I feel you looking over my shoulder
DEth, I'm not ready yet, for your tether,
DEth, Im young, should live longer, get older,
DEth, I may not be healthy, but Im not dying either.

DEth, I feel you closer, colder and icy,
DEth, I haven't lived yet, got more to do,
DEth, when I start, my spark will light, you'll see,
DEth, you need to back off, I dont need you.

DEth, why dont I feel so good, I feel unwell,
DEth, are you doing this, stop it now and go away,
DEth, Ive got years to live yet, dont you dare ring that bell,
DEth, that scythe looks sharp, please not today.

DEth, your grip is too tight, your hurting me,
DEth, let me go, Im still alive, look, see,
DEth, My body lays on the floor, all stiff and grey,
DEth, oh my god, have I been dead, wasting away.

DEth, Im being dragged away from my corpse
DEth, I cannot escape, am I going to Hell.
DEth, I'll fight you every step of the way,
DEth, I'll make you release me this I swear.

Deth, he turns to me and stops, releases my arm,
DEth, he looks into my soul, and speaks these words,
You've had the last 6 years to live your life, but did nothing at all,
Now I will remove you, so another can use your soul.

They will work hard, make use of the chance,
That you squandered away, without even a glance,
You dont deserve to continue wasting away,
So Im taking you back with me today.
