Dew Drop Poem by john mcleish

Dew Drop

I lay my head doon
upon the cool red earth
in the distant, the lights o toon
but they offer nay warmth

Surroonded by darkness
and glow o', campfire burning
in this isolation and loneliness
o my desert, dreaming

Come dawn ray
kookaburra singing
as the sun shines on my face
I see a dew drop, glistening
