Difference In Wants
I lay awake
and watch you sleep.
A peaceful smile upon your face
and I wonder,
how did I get here?
how did everything I wanted get brushed aside?
leaving me in this situation.
Loving you was never easy,
it had it's ups and downs,
but the hardest part was what you wanted.
