I'm free to be different
Because my fear of it has gone
I'm free to be different
Because of God's Son

The world acts like being different is so bad
Even though we all are different in some way
Our looks and personalties is what makes you different from me
I'm okay to do what I want and say what I want to say

I'm free to be different
To discover my own ways
I'm free to be different
I don't care if I look perfect or just okay

If I'm different, will you hate me
If you do, I really don't care
'Cause God helps me deal with you
I'm not going to ridicule you, like you do to me, even if you're not there

I'm free to be different
Because I can do things for me
I'm free to be different
Because with God, I can be whoever I want to be
