Different Realities Poem by June FeirCruz

Different Realities

Rating: 5.0

Even as you slumber deep and I reached for you
Like a primal response you kissed me
I felt you stir as my body touched yours
And like a dream we became one

I had wished that it will never end
That we will stay like this forever
You and I in a cocoon forever
Like an elusive blue butterfly

Alas, even the best things must come to an end
Waking up to another reality, we must
You go your way and I go to mine
We'll meet again, another time

In this poem you have captured something of great beauty and preserved it for us to experience even though the event itself seemed all too fleeting. Magic!

This very good. Written from the heart of a dream of once was, and may be again. And I do agree that the best things must come to and end...sadly. This poem makes the heart take a journey into a relam that we very seldom see. Thank you for sharing, and yuo get a 10 from me. Hugs, Barbara
