Dinner With The Creator Poem by ABASIFREKE E. DAN

Dinner With The Creator

Last night, we shared a table for dinner,
the creator and I.

My cruelties served on a clayey plate,
he sorted them off with his spoon.

My filthy rags covered our dining table,
as my iniquities played silent jingles.

Sorting out my hypocrisy to the dogs,
he fed me with sanity on a golden plate.

Then he wiped my mouth with his garment -
and whispered to me: 'Everyone must
have a DINNER WITH THE CREATOR.'
