Dip Into Darkness Poem by Alfred Ramos

Dip Into Darkness

The sun’s golden warmth
Brown toasted skin
Body opens to the universe
Bring a radiant feeling from within
Dreaming of a moonlight swim
Naked to the wind
I want to be the first
To know and do it all again
Elliptical visions surround the earth
Cannot tell you where I’ve been
Foggy thoughts at least no worse
Is the condition that I’m in?
But it was your intrusions
With your sample of illusions
That left me in a haze
Your eminence believed to be divine
Entangled tendencies became entwined
Leaving me lost in a circled maze
What is the summation, if not unhappiness?
The lament of a lover continues more or less
The filler of voids is artificially embalmed
Like too many yesterdays, the ocean’s roars were not calmed
