A high feeling
Of new obsession
For living
Living a life live-like
Enjoying the moments
Clicking ‘selfies'
For keepsake
As sweet memories
For showing off
To others
On social media
Becoming-
A herd mentality
A competition for
For flashing photos
For pleasure sake.

Everyone getting
Getting addicted
To the comments
From the known
Known or unknown
Making friendship with
For selfies so posted
Becoming more
And more important
Than the moment itself
In spite of enjoying
It's more of telling
Telling the tales
Tales of how much really
Really it h'been enjoyed.

Shrinking
The whole world
Whilst
Into one family
And all members
So interested in
In know-how
Of one another
Appreciating
Or being appreciated
Approving
Or being approved
Over and over again
Be it, at any cost
Clicking as such
A great fulfillment
To one and all
Occasionally
Saving the clicks
At the evenings
So spent together.

A good premonition
For the contemporary
Statesmen
Celebrating diplomacy
In a like manner
Through social media
As a new obsession.
