Discipline Is Love Poem by Gio Masserati

Discipline Is Love

Look at the consequences
They're soon to come
Sometimes what you hated
You become
Your moral compass
Playing dumb

Turn a cheek
Look away
Used to taking
What comes your way
Never weighing
in the future
The steep price
you'll have to pay

Choices
Voices
Molding your life
To take shape

Consequences
Condemnation
None of it feels good

When using your discernment
Wisdom's understood

Bend a knee to discipline
If not your legs will bend
Whether you like it or not

So give It all

You're sure to see patterns
Unfolding
Let go of secrets lies shame
Let beauty replace your
Withholding
Discipline and Love
Are the same
