What the nation needs is unity
and people's will to fight all foes;
What the world lacks is amity
Of countries, and solving woes!

Terrorism is a war on-going,
That may take on different forms;
The will to stamp it out must not wane,
Despite all problems within and abroad.

Shed off your pride, ego and corruption;
Throw off your selfishness of hearts and minds;
All basic needs of people must be met;
The Parliament must do its duty first!

Let leaders be disciplined unto world;
The party rants and raves may stay outside;
The tax-payers want prices to be slashed,
Not unaccounted money to be stashed!

Ask what you've done for your nation India?
The people are the wealth hidden and seen;
Keep the youth healthy and active always;
Let them not catch any vice but advice!

Awaken leaders, bureaucrats, people!
Let patriotism fill up your hearts;
You cannot waste money or people's time!
Foes of every kind are watching you.

Let fear not seize your minds about the past;
Let hearts be steadfast, work in better ways;
Control the evil forces within you;
Keep your spirits high and hearts united!
