Distant Past. Poem by Unknown Enigma

Distant Past.

In the distant past,
Seagulls soared above a reef.
A cave covered with Ivy leaves. Monsters in their hold beckoning from their keep.
Mermaids playing guitars strung of reeds.
Awaited a ghostly prayer for Poseidon to say calming things in the Ocean deep.

His trident was made of splintered coral. The sheep cast off in legions, plunging so sweet. The people by the seaside yell. What the heavens? As the sheep leap.
