Dive And Drive Poem by Paul Peters

Dive And Drive

No more searching for where to run and hide,
I'm being my own man, facing this ride.
Unshaken by the coming fright'ning tide,
I'll surf these waves that opens up so wide.

I've been to take cover behind the wall
In bid to escape the predator's call,
But then, it gave way as it made a fall,
Revealing me to be kicked like a ball.

Every nook and cranny, I have been to,
No where they bid me that I did not go,
Hoping that it won't always remain so,
But still, every door keeps telling me no.

I've sank to the sea's uttermost bottom
And encountered things I just can't fathom
Like phantom's chase till I'm changed to atom
After having weathered wind and brainstorm.

Like a soap washing clean every gained hope,
My scope's shattered that made me see me dope
That no word from a pope could help me cope.
Still, I'll pull me round the globe like with rope.
