Divine Mercy Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Divine Mercy

Divine mercy, ever abundant and pure,
A benevolent force, forever sure,
You shower upon us, your love divine,
With open arms, your mercy does shine.

From the highest heavens, you hear our cries,
With endless compassion, you dry our eyes,
Your forgiveness, like a soothing balm,
Calming our hearts, with a gentle calm.

Divine mercy, your grace so vast,
Unconditional, it will forever last,
In our darkest moments, you are our light,
Guiding us through, with all your might.

No sin too big, for your mercy to heal,
No heart too broken, for your love to seal,
You embrace us all, with open arms,
Erasing our faults, erasing our harms.

Through trials and struggles, you carry us through,
Your mercy, our lifeline, always true,
For every mistake, you offer us grace,
Wiping our slates clean, with your divine trace.

How blessed are we, to have your mercy near,
To cast away our doubts, our worries and fear,
For in your mercy, we find our strength,
A guiding compass, through life's length.

Divine mercy, a gift from above,
A testament to your never-ending love,
We humbly bow, at your mercy's throne,
Forever grateful, for all you have shown.

So here's my song, to your endless grace,
Forever in awe, of your merciful embrace,
May we bask in your love, now and forever,
Oh divine mercy, we'll cherish you forever..
