Divine Tenderness (Sonnet #39) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Divine Tenderness (Sonnet #39)

How do you know me better than I do?
When I'm upset but ignore the reason
You delve into my core and find the clue
Then tightly hug my heart with devotion.

You're also keen on how to make me smile
And how to swipe my tear and soothe my fear
You helped me befriend life and reconcile
With myself through consciousness. Your love heals.

I love you for you're the bliss I prayed for
I love you for you're the peace of my heart
You hold the only key of my heart's door
From your divine tenderness I can't part.

You love and care for me in many ways
For our hearts are moulded from the same clay.
