Diving Poem by Mary Cieslak

Diving

One step into the ocean.

Two steps; in the shallows
Wading into the deep.

Waves lapping at the knees,
Sea hugging the waist, before
Treading water now; kicking

Breathe in the cool salty air:
Inhale, Exhale. Inhale,

Dive.
