Diwali is our lighting day
Illuminating darkness
With brightly colored lights
And having traditional festivals
Laughter filling through
I smile at the fireworks

I am Hindu. Diwali is our lighting day. It is the contraption of 'Deepavali'. 'Deepa' meaning lights and 'avali' meaning row. Diwali meaning A row of lights.
