Do Not Entice Me Poem by Biniam Tekeste

Do Not Entice Me

Don't tickle me,
I'm not a baby.
Don't pat me,
I'm not your pet.
Don't caress me,
I'm not your wife.
Don't bribe me,
I'm not corrupt.
Don't entice me,
I'm not easy to seduce.

Well, I'm not having a single bite,
I've seen the hook beneath the bait.
So get out of my sight!

Well expressed thoughts and feelings. Brave utterances set aside for honest reflection. A work of an intricate mind.
