Do Not Exit Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Do Not Exit

A Japanese garden exuding calm
Soothingly balancing the yin and yang
With aromatic camphor like a balm
Where songs of the Kogera seem to hang

Stir the matcha with brush of bamboo
Let the body abate under the silk skies
Pass the dreamer sips of Saki too
So that all inhibitions sever ties

For when the time comes to open the door
Stepping into the ugliness of real
Concepts of beauty like years of lore
Give imagination some thoughts to heal.
