Do you know how to smile?
It took me quite a while
At the bathroom mirror,
A grin to conjure
I contorted my face,
Features moving place,
Yet my smile escaped me,
Oh where could it be?
I tried to tickle it into existence
But oh the resistance!
So I told my best joke
A smirk it did not provoke.
Then you stood at my side
And oh how I cried
With laughter
And only after
Could I begin to explain,
How I could not refrain
From smiling and howling
At you scowling
You needed the loo…
But I thank you!
