Love Is You Poem by Rachael Flint

Sometimes I stop just to look,
To look at your smiling face
Or sparkling eyes,
And I think that love is you

In these moments, I feel so free
Just to be, me, entirely.
That’s the effect you have
And why you fascinate me

I woke up this morning,
With a smile on my face,
A laugh in my heart
That I couldn’t keep in

So I laughed and smiled, safe,
Safe with knowing that you, like me,
Are bewildered by this feeling,
So you laugh too.

In these times when I stop,
To look at you, I feel complete,
I could stand there all day, just to watch
And feel and know and love.
