Do You Know Me - Poem by Douglas Arlen Scribner

Did you se me Lord when I was small?
Did you hear me Lord when I would call?
Did you know right from the very start,
of good or bad in each man's heart?
Did you know which way my life would go, from child to man
Did you watch me grow?
Did you guide my steps in everyway,
To take me through the hardest day?
Did you give me strength to know what's right?
Did you feel my pain in a sleepless night?
Did you know my soul would come to you,
When I make my final bid?
So I can hear the words from You,
"My Son, You Know I Did!"
