Do you remember those times you used to hold me?
When you told me it was alright?
Do you remember all those times you traveled hours to see me?
When I waited up for you every time
Do you remember when you told me you loved me?
When there were times you said you hated me
Do you remember all those times I held you?
When you wanted me to stay away

Do you remember how you fought with yourself to make me happy?
When I just wanted you to be happy for yourself
Do you remember that last time I saw you?
When I didn't know you wouldn't be coming back
Do you remember the last thing going through your mind?
When I'm still here wondering just what that was
Do you remember everything we shared?
When I always knew you were more than just what you were to me
Do you remember who you were to me?
When I knew I'd never forget

Do you remember taking your last breath?
When I was oblivious to it
Do you remember what you felt those last few hours?
When I simply gave up
Do you remember what I told you?
Why was this time different?
Do you still know that even with you gone
I'm still surviving
I'm moving on, but you're still there
Even with you gone I still love you
Do you remember, I told you I'd always miss your voice and seeing your face?
When I always knew I'd never have you forever
I just never thought It'd be so soon.
