Do You Remember? - Poem by sarah erwin

Do you remember?
When you loved and cared about me?
When you made me smile and laugh?
When we shared some great moments?
Do you remember?
When you betrayed me?
When you made me cry?
Do you remember?

I do. I remember. I remember walking past,
As though we've never met.
I remember the pain. The pain of the great
Memories that will never be shared again.
I remember. I remember the voice
that told me what my 'best friend' did to me.

I remember, and I will never forget.
I will never forget the pain you made me endure.
I will never forget.
I will never forget your cruelness.
I will never forget the way you hurt me.
I will never forget, not to forgive you.
